Overview
Parents work in partnership with a learning consultant and their child to provide, support, and nurture a learning environment at home, in the community, and at the Learning Centre.
Parent roles and responsibilities include:
- facilitate the completion of learning activities at home
- work with their child at home on a regular and consistent basis
- participate in scheduled Student Learning Plan conferences
- maintain regular contact with the learning consultant
- ensures their child’s regular attendance
- share evidence of learning (3 end of term portfolios)
- complete check-ins and directed projects
