Student Learning Resource Fund (SLRF)
The BC Ministry of Education recognizes that some aspects of a student’s educational program can be difficult to provide through online learning alone. To help support personalized learning opportunities, eligible full-time HLP students may access up to $600 in Student Learning Resource Funding (SLRF) each school year.
The SLRF can be used to support approved educational services, activities, and resources that align with your child’s Learning Plan and BC Curriculum goals.
Eligibility
To be eligible, students must:
- Be enrolled as a full-time HLP student
- Have a completed Student Learning Plan
- Submit required Engagement Activities
- Demonstrate ongoing engagement in their learning program
Important Reminders
✅ All requests must be approved by your supervising teacher before registration or purchase.
✅ Activities and resources must support your child’s Learning Plan and curricular goals.
✅ Funds are paid directly to approved third-party providers.
✅ Families cannot be reimbursed for expenses they have already paid.
