New Westminster Schools is a place where students love to learn. Our mission is to enable each student to learn in a safe, engaging and inclusive environment. Volunteers can work together with staff to help create this environment. While welcoming volunteer participation, the District is responsible for establishing safety procedures related to school volunteers. In order to ensure the safest possible environment for all students and members of our school community, must first reach out to the school principal to arrange an initial meeting to discuss the volunteer role.
Following the meeting, all volunteers must read the Volunteer Guidelines set out in AP-490 Parent-Guardian Volunteers and complete the below forms. Once all documentation has been submitted and approved, the school principal will reach out to volunteers.
Please note this form must be resubmitted each school year.
